You Are Invited To:
Ashley & Michelle
Foundation Grounds in Maplewood
WHAT YOU GET:
A nice array of local and organic lunch fare, including, but not limited to soups, sandwiches and quesadillas.
The setting is intimate and eclectic, decorated with interesting artwork. Great for a quick lunch or a place to set your laptop, do a little work and enjoy a cup of Joe for a few hours. The folks at FoGro (as they call themselves) are definite tree hugging planet lovers, an environment that we truly enjoy. It’s usually crowded around the lunch hour, just so you know. Don’t forget to check out the dessert case…it always looks tasty.
“Brother Mike’s Ham Sammy” grilled sandwich (ham, red onion, cheddar, spinach, and garlic mayo) with a side salad
Sammy – Liked it, but didn’t love it (was a bit dry)
Salad – It was very good, I will definitely have it again
“A Perfect Pear Panini” (brie, pear slices, spinach, apple butter, and red onion) with a side salad
Panini – Awesome (with the exception of the rather hard pears)
Salad – Average (pickled onions are a good twist)
From previous visit: “Funky Chicken” panini (shredded chicken patty with pesto, parmesan, red onion, and spinach) was Amazing as were the no-bake cookies
COME HUNGRY…..LEAVE SMELLING LIKE A PANINI
