You Are Invited To:
Michelle (and K.J.)
Edge of Dog Town
WHAT YOU GET:
Your typical bar and grill fare with a few signature dishes.
Dark bar and grill setting with live musical entertainment Thursday – Sunday evenings. If this was my first time, I would probably not return. However, since I have visited this establishment many times over the last several years, I am certain they can prepare pretty tasty food and the staff/owners are super nice. Our waitress on this particular visit was new and not very knowledgable about the menu. We arrived a little before the kitchen opened so we were offered some homemade chips……way over cooked! Not off to a good start. As we began to order, we had to change our selection a few times because they were out of several items. Signature dish Chicken Ellie…..all out. My favorite Strawberry Spinach Salad….ran out of Strawberries at lunch. Sad face.
Alright. Even though I requested them to be extra crispy, which they weren’t as well as I would have liked, they were still pretty good.
Blackened Chicken Quesadilla
Alright. Way too much seasoning sprinkled on top and they put mushrooms in there? That was random to me especially as a disliker of mushrooms.
Glazed Salmon and Broccoli (K.J.’s selection)
Alright. Mushy on the edges, but the middle was better. Broccoli……it was broccoli.
We finished off our meal with a slice of Hank’s Chocolate Chip Cheesecake which, of course, was delicious! Can’t go wrong there.
If you decide to visit, I recommend the following items from previous visits: Strawberry Spinach Salad, Onion Rings, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Cajun Chicken Pasta, and any of their soups of the day.
COME HUNGRY … LEAVE DISAPPOINTED.
