WHAT YOU GET:

Latin cuisine with a South Beach flair and a flash of the Caribbean. “Flaco’s focuses on clean flavors and fresh ingredients, with a menu that flows from fish tacos, to lobster empanadas, to traditional fajitas without skipping a beat.”  As partially quoted by Foodie STL

 THE EXPERIENCE:

Mexican Diner-like. Super cute, bright and small.

Bubbly Queso

Ashley’s Rating

Fabulous – So good I recommend the chips and cheese.  I think we got a large here, oops and this is a meal in itself, yo.  The chips are FANTASTIC, my favorite tortilla chips in STL by far.

Michelle’s Rating

Amazing! – This is straight up melted cheese. No messing around with the processed cheese type Queso. Thick, salty chips. Yum!

Chicken Enchilada

Ashley’s Rating

Fine – One would think meat and cheese in a tortilla with sauce on top would be amazing, but alas it was just okay.

Michelle’s Rating

Alright. Nothing special. Rice was ehhh.

Baja Tempura Fried Fish Tacos

There is a reason they’ve won 3 awards for these tacos!

Ashley’s Rating

Flawless – These are touch yourself kind of fish tacos.  Yes, I realize that it’s kind of racy putting those two comments in the same sentence….

Michelle’s Rating

Ambrosial!  Perfectly crispy white fish, topped with dry slaw and Baja sauce. I should’ve just ordered these. I also got a tilapia taco which was delicious as well! Cannot wait to go back for more.
