WHO:

Ashley & Michelle

WHERE:

St. Louis Hills (the second original location)

WHEN:

Snack time!

WHAT YOU GET:

Frozen custard where the combination possibilities are endless, whahaha – sundaes, concretes, shakes, malts, floats and cones.  This STL staple goes out of their way to keep their customers lining up all year round.  From  scoops of delicious custard in a mini Cardinal baseball cap (even if there are other team options, there really aren’t any – GO CARDS!) to Christmas trees which have nothing to do with custard, but it’s good business, yo.

 THE EXPERIENCE:

Don’t be intimidated by the swarm of people and the summertime officer on duty directing all the traffic buzzing around.  The line really does go pretty quickly.   If you order a concrete, they bust out their signature move, rotating the cup upside down to show you how thick these bad boys are.  This does not happen with sundaes, cause no one wants their hot fudge wasted and that’s just ridiculous.  After you order, hang around for a while in the lot…all the cool kids do.  If you are antisocial or if it’s a zillion degrees (erghm STL summer) take your dessert home in a bag with dry ice.

Cookie Dough Concrete

Fox Treat – Vanilla with Hot Fudge, Raspberries, and Macadamia Nuts

Our Rating:

Fabulous and Amazing – Fresh, super creamy and the perfect thickness.  Every bite is a pure staisfaction.  This treat is perfect any time of year, but it’s a definite stop on your annual St. Louis summer “must do” list.
