Lunch and Happy Hour (double whammy!)
We were in awe when we walked in for the first time at how nice, clean, and trendy this place is knowing it was formerly a steak house! Extremely friendly service from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. You can tell they take pride in what they do and serve.
WHAT YOU GET:
Lunch options include a few varieties each of flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, pastas, bruschettas, and entrees with Mediterranean flare (insert olive and oil here). It’s the perfect size menu, however everything sounds so tasty so you must come back multiple times to enjoy the wonderfulness. Word on the street is they have fantastic happy hour specials that you cannot miss!
Carb Starter Basket of Fried Crackers, Olive and Plain Bread Slices for Dipping
Fabulous! The bread is amazing…..really! Who doesn’t love fresh, warm breads….oh and oil to dip them in?
Amazing! If a restaurant can impress me with their free pre-meal carbs, automatic 100 cool points.
B.T.F.T. Panini– bacon, turkey, fontina, tomato, foccacia with fries
Amazing! This perfectly sized sandwich has a great flavorful combination and ratio of “middles”. The crispy fries stopped me dead in my tracks. The light batter that coated them made them stand out from all other fries. On a more recent visit, they had changed and were not as delightful. I was quick to let the waitress know my disappointment, so hopefully they fixed the fry issue before your visit.
Steak Burger – stuffed with gorgonzola, arugula and balsamic onions with a side salad
Fine – This was just an average burger fancied up for me. I was expecting something a little different say….. like two giant steaks stuck together by melty gorgonzola cheese. It wasn’t exactly that but it was worth a try right? The side salad was pretty darn tasty.
Spinach Salad – pear, candied walnuts, gorgonzola, cranberries, pomegranate vinaigrette
Awesome – Very refreshing and healthy! Really, this salad was a bowl of fresh ingredients with a light dressing. I am glad I had my bread basket to give me a little extra substance.
HAPPY HOUR SPECIALS:
Verdura Flatbread – asparagus, roasted tomato, peppers, ricotta, balsamic onion
Fine – What a way to incorporate a few veggies into your happy hour! Great flavor combo, went well with my wine.
Awesome – The veggie combo of the Verdura didn’t knock my socks off, because the Pan D’olive option (not pictured) was more cheesy and amazing.
Phyllo Cigar (Left) – phyllo dough stuffed with feta and herbs
Arancini (Right) – gorgonzola, steak, potato, roasted tomato marinara
Fine and Fabulous – The phyllo cigar was an interesting flavor, strangely ethnic, if that makes any sense. The arancini was super good.
Alright and Amazing – The cigar was rather dry and the fried ball of gooey goodness was quite delightful. Who wouldn’t want these little guys for a dollar a pop?!
COME HUNGRY…. AND COME BACK FOR A HAPPY HOUR (WHICH WE MOST CERTAINLY DID)
